The group of islands around Mahé with Praslin and La Digue, called the "Inner Islands" or "Seychelles Bank", is the country's most densely populated and best-known group of islands.
The former British colony is now a republic with the main island Mahé and the capital Victoria.
We landed on the main island of Mahé and embarked there. The ship was our hotel for the few days we had left to explore the island. Then the ship sailed to La Digue and anchored between the islands of La Digue and Praslin. We were taken to La Digue by dinghies. We were warned about inflated prices.
