The Villa Romana del Casale near Piazza Armerina is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The mosaics that decorate it are exceptional in their artistic quality and inventiveness, as well as in their quantity (around 3,500 m²).
To date, nearly 50 rooms of the former luxury residence have been excavated and are open to visitors. All of the rooms are located in the former mansion, while the farm buildings and lodgings are still waiting to be discovered.
Let's go on a guided tour of the Villa Romana del Casale.
