The oldest building in Yaroslavl is the Cathedral of the Declaration of Christ in the Monastery of the Saviour. The cathedral was built in 1506-16 on the foundation of an old wooden church from the 13th century.


Kishi Holzkirchen

Kishi, a peninsula in Lake Onega where wooden churches can be admired. They come from the surrounding area and were erected here as museum churches.
