The MS Pakhomov was built in 1989 as a hospital ship in East Germany and later converted into a hotel ship. She was renovated in 1999. The ship is 129.1 m long and 16.7 m wide. It holds 231 passengers and 114 crew members. We had cabin 201 right next to the shop.
Since 2011 the ship is called Viking Ingvar.
We travelled with it from St. Petersburg to Moscow
Svetlana is, as always, concerned about us and spoils us in the on-board restaurant Neva with culinary delights of the Russian cuisine, prepared by an Austrian chef!
