The last few kilometres from Mies to Geneva lead through many towns and urban areas and sometimes surprisingly on nice natural paths along brooks.
At Versoix we come to the lake where we stop for a break. Then the always well signposted path leads via Malagny to Genthod.
In the picture you see Genhtod with its church in the background.
Then the path leads down to the railway. We walk along the track for a long time.
Once again, we climb the hills of the Geneva suburbs of Chambésy and Pregny (picture), where we walk past magnificent villas.
At the entrance to the city of Geneva at the Botanical Garden, we leave the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago and walk through the garden.
A subway leads to the park by the lake
Now the path becomes very beautiful. On one side the lake, on the other side one park after the other. Here the park "La Perle du lac Geneva"
We walk past magnificent villas along the quay to the harbour, ...
... where we stop at the Sisi Memorial.
