At the end of our pilgrimage there is a guided tour of Leipzig. We saw
The Nikolai Church ...
... with the impressive classicist columns.
The Thomas church
We enjoy a wonderful motet service with the Thomaner and the Gewandhaus Orchestra. Parts of Bach's B minor Mass are performed.
Augustus square is changing because the outlines of the University Church, which was blown up in GDR times, are being rebuilt.
The complex "Paulinum - Assembly Hall and University Church of St. Pauli" will commemorate the church from 2013.
