Singing in Advent in Melchtal with Susi Huber's choir
Every year during Advent, Susi Huber's choir members met for two weekends in the village of Melchtal in the canton of Obwalden. Each weekend a different formation of the choir.
The Hotel Alpenhof of the Huwyler family was our domicile and rehearsal venue. On Sunday we sang in the parish and pilgrimage church Maria Namen in Melchtal. Each time there was a very atmospheric Advent celebration, which we all remember fondly.
