The humanist library in Sélestat houses the Miracle Book of Saint Fides from 1296. Beautifully handwritten on parchment, the book contains the Divine Office of the Confessors and the Virgins, the Martyrology of St. Faith, ecclesiastical chants and the history of the Schlettstadt monastery.
