Wörgl is an important railroad junction and was probably destroyed during the Second World War. The rebuilt houses lack the original Tyrolean character.
As pilgrims to St. James we had reserved a room in the Schachtner Hof and were very surprised when we were standing in front of closed doors at 16:00. A sign informed us that it would be open from 17:00. So we had a coffee in the busy Bahnhofstrasse.
