Here in the first bigger town, in Saint-Chely-d'Aubrac we are already 500m lower and it is already quite hot.

The path continues downhill through the hilly landscape.
The stage destination is the Convent de Malet, the Congregation of the Ursulines off Saint-Côme-d'Olt.
We received an extremely warm welcome, felt very, very comfortable and enjoyed the clean rooms with excellent beds.
For pilgrims there was a menu in the monastery canteen. There we met many of the pilgrims we had met along the way.
We used the washing machine in the monastery for the much needed cleaning of our clothes.
