The newly renovated chapel ‘Unserer lieben Frau Maria Hilf’ (Our dear Lady Mary Help of Christians) on the Langenegg above Eggerstanden is over a hundred years old.
During an earlier renovation in 1989, the original picture was replaced by the current Mariahilf picture, which dates from the time the chapel was built (1888). The frame was carved and donated by the administrator on whose land the chapel stands.
