Hanoi is a vibrant city with many, many inhabitants. The street scene is dominated by motor scooters by day and by night, whose drivers mainly use the horn to get ahead. The houses are - like everywhere in Vietnam - very narrow (towel houses) and built high up. On the ground floor are shops or restaurants and on the upper floors are the living rooms. If there is space on the pavements, i.e. if there are no mopeds parked there, people cook and eat there. The photos show some impressions from a walk through the streets of Hanoi, the ones for the ears and the nose have to be thought of.
