The Palatinate, Alsace and Burgundy Way of St. James

With the Swiss Association of Friends of the Camino de Santiago (Les Amis du Chemin de Saint Jacques), we went on pilgrimage in September 2015 with 22 people from Speyer to the monastery of Marienthal near Haguenau and in September 2016 we continued to Kaysersberg and in September 2017 to Belfort. We stayed in youth hostels, monasteries and simple hotels. The Palatine Way of St James is very poorly signposted, a map and directions are essential. In Alsace and Burgundy, we could rely on the signs quite well, but even there the directions helped in case of doubt.
